"K.G.F: Chapter 1"
is an Indian action drama film directed by Prashanth Neel. Released in 2018, it serves as the first installment of the two-part series. The movie is set in the 1970s and follows the rise of a young orphan named Rocky from the streets of Mumbai to becoming a powerful underworld figure in the gold mines of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka, India.
The film begins with a narration about the KGF, which is under the control of the ruthless gold baron, Garuda, played by Ramachandra Raju. Garuda, with his gang of henchmen, terrorizes the people of KGF and makes them work as slaves in the gold mines.
Rocky, played by Yash, is introduced as a young boy whose mother passes away in poverty. Determined to escape his impoverished life, he sets out to conquer the world. The story then shifts to Rocky's journey from Mumbai to Bangalore, where he enters the criminal underworld.
In Bangalore, Rocky gets involved with the gangster, Rajendra Desai, played by Achyuth Kumar, who recognizes Rocky's potential and helps him make his way to KGF. Rocky's ambition is fueled by his desire to fulfill his dying mother's wish of becoming the richest and most powerful man in the world.
Upon reaching KGF, Rocky starts working for Garuda's mining company. He quickly establishes himself as a fearless and resourceful fighter. Through his intelligence and strategic moves, Rocky starts challenging Garuda's dominance, slowly gaining control over the gold mines and the workers.
Rocky's rise to power doesn't come easy, as he faces numerous obstacles, including Garuda's violent attacks and political interference. However, Rocky's determination and ruthlessness lead him to defeat his enemies one by one, gradually becoming the new kingpin of KGF.
The film is packed with intense action sequences, emotional drama, and powerful dialogues. It showcases the dark underbelly of the gold mining industry and the struggle for power and control. The story of "K.G.F: Chapter 1" sets the stage for the second part of the series, leaving audiences eagerly waiting to see how Rocky's journey unfolds in the next installment.
