"Puli"
is a fantasy adventure film directed by Chimbu Deven and stars Vijay, Sridevi, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, and Hansika Motwani in prominent roles.
The story revolves around a kingdom called Vedhalapuram, which is ruled by Queen Rudhramadevi (played by Sridevi). The queen possesses magical powers and has the ability to transform into a beautiful young woman. She is in search of a chosen one, the prophecy of whom states that he will overthrow the evil Bhairava (played by Sudeep) and bring prosperity to the kingdom.
Maru Dheeran (played by Vijay) is a brave and valiant warrior who is unaware of his true identity. He is raised by a village tribe and lives a simple life until he learns about his royal lineage. Maru Dheeran embarks on a quest to fulfill the prophecy and save the kingdom from Bhairava's tyrannical rule.
Throughout his journey, Maru Dheeran encounters various magical creatures, battles fierce warriors, and unravels the truth about his past. He also falls in love with Princess Pavazhamalli (played by Shruti Haasan) and receives guidance from his loyal friend, Sorimuthu (played by Soori).
The movie combines elements of fantasy, action, and adventure, showcasing the hero's struggle to overcome challenges, fulfill his destiny, and save the kingdom from the clutches of evil.
